Harvesting in Forest

Four steps before we send the rattans to our processing factory

    Hunting

    Workers hunt for the top grade rattan in the forest

    Scrambling

    The hunted rattans are arranged neatly before harvesting

    Harvesting

    Workers start harvesting the arranged rattans

    Ready to process

    After all, the rattan is sent to the Master Cane factory

Twelve steps before we delivery the goods

    Loading & Counting

    While loading the rattans from the lorry, we ensure that the quantity is exactly the right amount.

    Cooking rattans

    This is the first step of the process in our factory. We cook the rattan to

    Washing & Cooling

    After the rattan is immersed in boiled water, it is washed and cooled to make it clean.

    Dirt cleaning

    Even the rattan is washed, there is still some dirt on it. This process ensures that the rattan is clean.

    Sun Drying

    The rattan has to be dried to remove excess moisture and make the product suitable for use.

    Air drying

    After sun drying, we store the rattans in a storage. Air drying keeps them dry all the time.

    Shape fixing

    Before proceeding to the next process, rattans must be shaped straight.

    Shaving

    The cross-sectional area of the rattan has to be shaved into a round shape.

    Polishing

    After shaving the rattan, we polish the surface of the rattan to make it smooth.

    Smoked

    The next step is to cure the rattan, turning its color from a pale green into the yellow.

    Packaging

    The canes are packed neatly to ensure they are delivered with best conditions.

    Deliver

    Now, the products are loaded and they are prepared to be delivered.
